Chapter Seven

Matt could feel her pulling away from them emotionally as well as mentally as she came back to herself. But he was more determined than ever to have her as his and Todd’s woman.

He’d always loved Tiffany, but when they were younger he’d thought that love had been what he’d feel if he had a sister. Now he knew how wrong he was. He and Todd had gone through a lot of women looking for that connection but had never found it, and he knew that he never would unless they were with Tiffany. She was the love of his life, and he’d only just realized it.

He glanced over at Todd and saw the same shell-shocked expression in his brother’s eyes, but thank God both of them had learned to keep their feelings to themselves, because if they hadn’t and Tiffany saw how they really felt about her, he was fairly certain she would scoff at them and then leave.
